Butt fusion fittings are moulded in PE100 up to DN630 and fabricated from pipe above that, giving a continuous range to DN1600 with matched SDR. Moulded fittings carry the same pressure rating as the pipe; fabricated fittings are de-rated per the applicable standard and marked accordingly, so the design engineer always knows what they are getting.
Every fitting is dimensionally inspected against the drawing, and fabricated items are ultrasonically or hydrostatically checked before release. Bulk packing is per-size in cartons or pallet boxes with a packing list keyed to the shipping mark.
